SHIPPING POLICY


Costs and Service

To make things simple we use a standard shipping fee of £3.95 per order.

We currently use Royal Mail 48 hour post for most orders however will sometimes use Royal Mail 24 hour, DPD or DHL Express when we need to get an item to you quickly.


When dispatched you will automatically receive a tracking code which will be emailed to you and added to your order summary.



Dispatch Times 


Estimated dispatch times are listed in working days. Our standard working days are Monday to Friday and do not include Scottish Public Holidays.
We do however often work on days classed as non working days to provide the best possible service.

For items advertised as same or next day dispatch we have the item on the shelf ready to go. Majority of the time we will dispatch the item the same day.


For items advertised as 2-5 days dispatch, 3-10 day dispatch or similar, we either have the items already on their way to us from the supplier, will add it into our resupply order that day or can specially order the item.


If an item becomes unavailable with our suppliers we are almost immediately notified and will mark it unavailable on our website, as such we rarely list an item available that is not.



Multi Item orders with differing Dispatch Times

If your order consists of multiple items and there are different dispatch times, our standard policy is to dispatch all items when they are all ready.


We may on occasion contact to offer part of the order separately at our discretion and cost. 

If you are ordering items with different dispatch times and would like to receive them in separate orders as they become available please contact us. This may attract  an extra fee.


Delayed orders 


As with any online business we do suffer from time to time with delays in shipping once our items are handed to the couriers, or in the case of special/back order items there can be a delay between the manufacturer and getting to us.
 
We select couriers and suppliers for reliability over cost, and try our hardest to keep you up to date with anything unexpected. If you are wondering where your item is just get in touch at sales@homecontrolshop.com
