SRT322 is a Z-Wave electronic room thermostat, supplied with a boiler actuator receiver featuring TPI energy saving software. Wireless communications and battery operation make installation quick and simple, by removing the need for disruptive and time consuming wiring. SRT322 has been designed to use the latest energy saving control technology, combined with Secure’s established design and manufacturing expertise, making it suitable for use in most types of heating system.

Proven Z-Wave wireless technology is used for communications between the thermostat and the receiver. The standard operating frequency is 868.42 MHz, but other country-specific frequencies are available. The battery powered thermostat unit displays RF status, while the receiver is mains powered and features volt-free contacts.

SRT322 has additional functionality that can be utilised when integrated within a larger Z-wave system. For example, it can receive set point temperature messages from another controller, and can be used as a temperature sensor.

Domestic gas or oil-fired central heating and hot water systems
A 3-ampere wireless relay is included in the box, making SRT322 ideal for controlling gas or oil-fired central heating systems. TPI software significantly improves the efficiency of the boiler by preventing short-cycling, while maintaining consistent comfort.

Combi boiler control
The single-channel relay supplied with the SRT322 enables it to control a combi boiler directly, while the TPI software ensures the most efficient operation. It requires only minimal wiring between the boiler and the relay.

Zone control
SRT322 is ideal for controlling individual heating zones and is very easy to install. The thermostat is battery powered and communicates using mesh radio, so it only needs control wiring. This gives maximum flexibility in choosing the best location to mount the device.

New systems
SRT322 is powered by batteries and has wireless communications. This makes it a flexible and easy to install thermostat for both new installations and retro-fit ones.  

Replacement of conventional room thermostats
SRT322 fits on to the industry standard 6-pin back plate, so it can be fitted as a drop-in replacement for most other existing thermostats.
